BeanGo — the free pour over coffee tracker
BeanGo is a free, offline pour over coffee tracker with a guided hands-free brew timer, expert recipes, bean freshness tracking, and tasting notes. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no sign-up, and no data ever leaves your device.
What you can do with BeanGo
- Follow a guided brew timer — a hands-free, step-by-step timer with a bloom phase, auto-advancing pours, and audio chimes. The screen stays awake while you brew.
- Brew with expert recipes — pre-loaded methods from James Hoffmann, Tetsu Kasuya, and Scott Rao pre-fill every parameter and drive the timer.
- Plan your pours — build an editable bloom → pours → drawdown schedule before you start, then go fully hands-free.
- Log a brew in seconds — quick-log mode records a session retroactively without the timer.
- Track bean freshness — a roast-date field gives each bean a color-coded freshness indicator (too fresh, peak, good, stale).
- Repeat your last brew — one tap pre-fills from your most recent session, with per-bean grind memory.
- Rate every cup — a star rating plus a 5-axis tasting profile (acidity, sweetness, body, bitterness, finish).
- Keep a bean library — your personal collection plus a searchable specialty-coffee catalog.
- See your stats — brew count, average rating, and recent session history.
- Use it offline — an installable PWA for iOS and Android that works with no connection.
Built-in expert pour over recipes
James Hoffmann — Ultimate V60 (1:16.7)
A 45-second bloom at twice the coffee weight, a first pour to 60% of the water by 1:15, a second pour to 100% by 1:45, then drawdown — finishing around 3:15.
Tetsu Kasuya — 4:6 Method (1:15)
Five equal pours of 20% each at 45-second intervals with no bloom. The first 40% (two pours) sets sweetness and acidity; the last 60% (three pours) sets strength.
Scott Rao — Percolation V60 (1:16.7)
A 40-second stirred bloom at twice the coffee weight, a pour to 50% by 1:10, a pour to 100% by 1:40, then drawdown — finishing around 3:10.
